A 20 year veteran of the Criminal Investigations Bureau, John conducts major crime scene investigations for the Arvada Police Department. John is a Registered Medicolegal Death Investigator, awarded Diplomate status in the American Board of Medicolegal Death Investigators. This certification is official recognition of the recipient demonstrating professional knowledge and competence in the field of medicolegal death investigation and an adherence to high standards of professional practice and conduct. John is the only candidate for Jefferson County Coroner with national certification as a death investigator. He has been declared a “Life Member” of the Rocky Mountain Division of the International Association for Identification. This organization represents crime scene investigators, and other forensic specialists from Colorado and Wyoming. A great time was had by John and his fellow Jefferson County candidates as they marched in the Evergreen Rodeo Parade last month. There were bales of hay, plenty of campaign signs and lots of candy for parade watchers. The Evergreen Rodeo Association put together a wonderful event.
